The Spring Cove School District Soccer program was first created in 2009 when the district sanctioned the sport of Soccer for boys / girls at the Jr High/Middle school level. After two years, in 2011, the district authorized two additional soccer teams at the varsity level for both boys and girls. The model to approve a new sport first at the Jr High level then High School level was suggested by several league coaches and athletic directors.
